We are hiring for the firm based in Muscat Oman for the role of Lift Maintenance Technician the role and responsibilities are as follows
Installing, repairing and maintaining leading brands of elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, especially Otis / Kone / Mitsubishi / Schindler etc. - Inspecting equipment to ensure it is functioning properly, repairing or replacing parts as needed. - Performing preventative maintenance on all equipment - Troubleshooting of mechanical as well as electrical malfunctions and execute follow up actions for satisfactory resolution of callbacks as assigned / reported. - Reporting and documentation of any safety issues with the equipment to management - Installing new equipment where required - Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed - Auditing existing elevator systems to identify possible problems or weaknesses - Operating an elevator to test its functionality and ensure that it is safe for public use - Performing regular maintenance tasks such as greasing bearings and lubricating moving parts - Relevant mechanical certification. - Ability to read and interpret General Arrangement Drawings and elevator wiring diagrams. - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects. - Prepare complete.
Ensure the delivery time with the supplier. - Ensure timely submission of required quotation to the customer. - Responsible for ordering and maintaining spare parts. - To maintain call back reports and to submit daily maintenance reports. - Inspect elevator and ensure high quality of servicing and maintenance routines done. - Inspect the performance of elevators / escalators / dumbwaiters. - Knowledge of repairs and modernization of OTIS elevators and escalators. - To attend, troubleshoot and resolve all call backs. - Achieve 100% service completion of the particular month without any service pending. - Ensure all customer call-backs attended on time. - Ability to travel and work after hours when required. - Ability to work independently.
Stores
To Maintain stock register and submit monthly stock reports on last day of the month.
Maintain the necessary stock for all models.
Maintaining spare parts.
Salary: RO500.000 - RO700.000 per month
Experience:
- 10years: 5 years (preferred)
