Internal Communication Officer

Your Role...:
The Communication Officer executes internal communication and/or marketing activities for the Interdisciplinary Centre of Security and Trust (SnT):

  • Execute on an integrated communication strategy for internal communications
  • Facilitate the information exchange within the organization and contribute to the implementation of communication strategies and the achievement of communication objectives
  • Maintain communication and marketing tools including both internal and external mailing lists, registration forms, and our newsletter platform (Brevo)
  • Organise SnT staff assemblies (twice a year, catering and activities within a defined budget), and other smaller internal events
  • Design communication and marketing materials (posters, visuals) using Canva
  • Writing editorial content for primarily internal audiences (for the intranet and monthly newsletter)
  • Creating quick production (iphone) videos for primarily internal audiences
  • Monitor the performance of communications activities and submit reporting (event data, annual communication survey)
  • Support the activities of the communications team on an ad-hoc basis

Your Profile...:

  • A degree with a specialization in communication and/or marketing
  • Work experience in a similar position is a strong asset
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Fluency in French is a strong asset
  • Skills in digital marketing, communication and data analysis are desirable
  • Skills in design and command of relevant software are desirable
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at a number of levels
