Our client, a leading European Commercial Group facing significant growth, is looking to recruit for their Luxembourg offices a:
AR Accountant
Job based at Luxembourg Cloche D’Or area.
Role:
Handle the invoicing and booking of the transactions;Management and processing of the invoicing onto the ERP System;Take "ownership" of a part of the General Accounting (GL, AP & AR) of the companies assigned to you;Follow-up of the « day-to-day » accounting activities;Assist with the liaison with the companies of the group related to intercompany reconciliations;Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual VAT returns both locally and internationally;Assist with the invoicing activities related to the month-end and year-end closing process.
Profile:
Post secondary academic degree in accounting;At least 2+ year’s professional experience in accounting;Ability to work autonomously as well as an excellent team player;Fluency in English, any other European language is considered a plus;Accuracy and attention to detail;Experience in working in cross-functional and multicultural environments;Proficiency in Excel (macros, vlook-up, complex Pivot,)Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines with a positive attitude;Good knowledge in SAP, is considered an advantage.
