Job Title: Materials & Equipment Coordinator
Responsibility Overview:The Materials & Equipment Coordinators responsibilities are to ensure that the right materials, supplies, and equipment are available when and where they are needed.
Key Tasks:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain an accurate inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Track usage patterns and forecast future needs.
Procurement:
- Collaborate with procurement and purchasing teams to order materials and equipment.
- Source suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery.
- Verify the quality and quantity of received items.
Storage and Warehousing:
- Organize and store materials and equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
- Implement proper labelling, categorization, and storage practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including hazardous material handling.
- Ensure that the workshop cleanliness is maintained
Distribution:
- Coordinate the distribution of materials and equipment to the appropriate departments or job sites.
- Ensure that items are delivered to the right locations on time.
- Maintain records of distribution and consumption.
Documentation:
- Keep detailed records of all materials, supplies, and equipment transactions.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and reorder points.
- Maintain documentation related to quality control and compliance.
Cost Control:
- Monitor expenses related to materials and equipment.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
Communication:
- Coordinate with various departments or teams to understand their material and equipment needs.
- Communicate any delays or issues with procurement or deliveries.
- Provide updates on inventory status and availability.
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Arrange for maintenance and repairs of equipment when necessary.
- Ensure that equipment is in working order and safe to use.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay up to date with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment meet regulatory standards.
Vendor Management:
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate supplier performance and reliability.
Continuous Improvements
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement best practices in materials and equipment management.
Education Qualification: Diploma or equivalent
Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics is preferable
Key Components:
- Singapore Diving License
- Fork Lift Operators License (Training Can be provided)
- Computer literate - Microsoft Office & Excel
- Fluency in spoken & written English
- Proficient in warehouse and / or logístical operations

Salary: $2,500.00 - $2,800.00 per month

Experience:
- Logistics or warehouse: 3 years (required)
License/Certification:
- Singapore Driving License (required)
- WSQ Operate Forklift (preferred)
