Key Responsibilities / Outcomes
Core
- Co-ordinate IT Roadmap with the tech team to aid communication and planning.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and work with relevant parties to propose viable and consistent solutions.
- Provide KPIs reporting to Senior Management to track progress of IT projects and instigate same to improve productivity.
- Provide recommendations on ways to improve productivity and Customer satisfaction levels.
- Monitor Internal Service Level Agreements, escalate issues to Senior Management as appropriate to ensure SLAs are met.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding technology elements of new starters/leavers or changes of role and report on efficiency of same:
- Identify new opportunities for technology and develop strategies to make the team more efficient.
- Assist the IT team in the overall IT budgeting practices - streamline non-stock PO and invoice processing processes.
- Support annual IT Audits and follow up actions, hygiene activities and process improvements.
- Analyse and understand business workflow and provide solutions for product enhancements and new initiatives and provide ongoing support for existing products.
- Contribute to the risk management process to ensure risks in the relevant business area are highlighted and escalated where appropriate.
- Work with Quality Department on work periodic reviews of Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures owned by IT Department.
- Contribute to the Uniphar’s Group Continuous Process Improvement set up and act as IT representative on the relevant forum.
- Working with technology teams and 3rd party vendors as required and supporting the overall delivery of the business process.
Secondary:
Manage user acceptance testing for software patching and system changes and report on efficiency of same:
Engage with the DPO on Data Privacy activities.
- Backfill team members as required in operational activities.
Support authorisations (SAP User Management/ Authorisations/Role Management/Transaction Management/BCT Access/UPC Tickets and report on efficiency of same:
Support creates a process flow and documentation for the company.
- Deliver training as required on systems pertinent to their role.
Key Skills, Experiences & Competencies
- Ideally have 1-2 years’ experience in a similar support role
- 1-2 years involvement in a technology department supporting day to day activities.
- Attention to detail, must be able to operate at the relevant levels of detail required.
- Self-starter with strong communication, presentation, relationship building and end to end analytical skills.
- Knowledge of process improvement practices
- Experience managing and executing System Testing and UAT
- Prior experience working in a GxP environment useful.
- Prior exposure to SAP ECC6 and S4 Hana/ Fiori
- Strong MS Office abilities, KPI and Reporting creation and tracking
- Experience in supporting some of the following systems - GRC access control, ERP, WMS, Finance, eCommerce, digital portals, reporting tools.
- Relevant technical qualifications a plus
