Duties:
- Provides program oversight to assure timely operational support and integration of new logístical or changing concepts and develops methods and techniques required for program execution.
- Determines necessary actions to plan, establish and develop overall operational logistics criteria and ensure allocation and proper use of resources.
- Advises on complex field level maintenance programs.
- Performs broad and complex studies and analyses of logistic processes, policy and procedural issues, or proposals for new or modified processes, policies and procedures, involving RESET, and Pre-Deployment Training Equipment.
- Performs supply and maintenance workload analysis, and coordination with applicable Logistic Readiness Center (LRC) Material Management Divisions, and contractor operated maintenance operations.
- Plans, develops, schedules, coordinates, implements, and makes recommendations for improvement of and changes in the maintenance program operations.
- Oversees and provides guidance on production and performance, coordinates un-programmed national repair programs, production and performance status in support of unit readiness (repair and return to user).
- Provides oversight of LRC support and performance to ensure compliance with policies and identify systematic issues as required to support Commanders, the War-fighter, Brigade and subordinate activities.
- Integrates Logistics Support Activities (LOGSA) products and Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS), implementation of contingency contracting and acquisition, logistics and technology (ALT) into LRC operations.

- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

- Applicants must comply with the Exceptional Family Member Program requirements as outlined in the DoD Instruction 1315.19.
- This position is designated as Emergency Essential (EE) to support the Command's mobilization and wartime mission during periods of increasing tension and mobilization.
- Must sign DD Form 2365 (DoD Civilian Employee Overseas Emergency Position Agreement).
- Must be able to successfully complete a CENTCOM MOD-17 compliant deployment physical exam which includes medical, dental, and behavioral health fitness standards. Immunization screening is required.
- This is a deployable DA Civilian position. As such, incumbent must pass an initial and annual medical examination and receive/remain up to date on required immunization for the overseas or deployed location.
- You may be required to process through the CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) in Camp Atterbury, IN prior to deployment. The CRC is the final authority for declaring an individual deployable.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. Official Passport.
- Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 13 Months. Term appointments may be extended up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.

- Specialized Experience: To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Experience performing analysis of a maintenance program using Logistics Information Systems; 2) Experience providing Unit Status Readiness reporting requirements and evaluating performance work statements; 3) Experience Performing analysis of contract cost, contractor performance, and scheduled milestones to verify compliance of contract requirements; AND 4) Experience conducting risk assessments. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade in the federal service (GS-12).
Education:
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirements using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

- U.S. citizens overseas under ordinarily resident status are not eligible for appointment under the Status of Forces Agreement.
