Ngā Tini Whetū
Te Whānau o Waipareira is seeking new kaimahi to support whānau in developing strong and resilient environments for tamariki.
As a kaimahi, you will work closely alongside parents and caregivers to help nurture tamariki during the first 1000 days of life (0-3 years old).
Position responsibilities will range from workshop facilitation to stakeholder liaison, as you build robust foundations for growth and connect with external partners who can awhi whānau connections to Te Ao Māori.
Your Skills & Experience
- Commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori.
- Relevant health, education, or social work qualification preferred.
- Prior experience supporting whānau in the community.
- Strong facilitation, planning and coordination experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of local community networks.
- Knowledge in Kaupapa Māori & Whānau Ora outcomes framework.
- Full NZ Drivers License is essential for local travel.
