As a Sourcing Officer,you will play a vital role in identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure that we maintain a diverse and high-quality product range. You will work closely with internal teams to understand market demands, develop sourcing strategies, and optimize inventory levels.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential suppliers for sanitary fittings and conduct thorough evaluations to assess their capabilities, reliability, and quality standards
- Negotiating with both internal departments and suppliers regarding purchasing, product specifications, sales terms, quality inspection, warranty claims, etc.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage the procurement process, including order placement, shipment tracking, and delivery scheduling
- Collaborate with product development teams to evaluate new product opportunities and provide input on design, features, and specifications
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to anticipate supply chain challenges and opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, fostering open communication and resolving any issues or concerns
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards
- Analyze sourcing data and metrics to identify areas for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier optimization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the sanitary fittings industry
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements
- Proficiency in English
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and supply chain management software
