As part of our Agile Transformation, we are seeking passionate and experienced Data Architects to work in a critical and growing area of the bank, using innovative technologies and agile delivery methodologies.
As part of our agile design team, you will have access to support and guidance during design review sessions, and you will take ownership of the solution as it progresses into the build and test phases. Be a part of a team that values creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
In this role, you will:
- Accountable for delivering effective solution designs within the Bank's EDW / EDL platforms
- Design end-to-end data warehouse solutions to meet business needs within the context of a broader solution implementation
- Contributor to overall solution planning, providing input into the estimation process as well as highlighting technical risks, issues and assumptions
- Produce required design artefacts. Work with the business and programmes to help refine their data requirements. Present to the Bank's Architecture Review Board when necessary
- Engage with key collaborators in the Group Data Office and across the business and provide support to and engage with non-factory solution architects on change initiatives
- Support the delivery lead to break down the solution so that it can be delivered iteratively in sprints
- Support other engineering functions within data solutions, including mapping, build, test and release
What will make you stand out?:
You are an experienced solution architect in designing solutions for data warehouse & data lake projects and programmes working in complex, multi-vendor change delivery organisations. You have a continuous improvement and innovative attitude and the ability to work independently with mínimal guidance
You have data/data-warehousing knowledge and experience particularly on the Teradata EDW platform or similar technology. You are experienced in modern engineering practices and technologies and Informatica and data architecture.

Data Solutions provides critical data integration and engineering services to support the Bank's change programme of initiatives. Data Solutions operates a 'one team' culture delivering through multi-functional squads. Solution architects operate as a shared service provider to the delivery squads in developing solution plans and designing the end-to-end data warehouse solutions.
This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
