Your key responsibilities

• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
• SAP Integration: Lead the integration of SAP Procurement modules with Ariba solutions to create a seamless procurement environment.
• Ariba Configuration: Configure and customize Ariba modules to meet the specific needs of the organization, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Supplier Management, and Contract Management.
• Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to streamline processes, improve supplier performance, and negotiate favorable terms and agreements.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements within the procurement function, leveraging SAP and Ariba tools to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Reporting and Analytics: Utilize SAP and Ariba reporting tools to generate meaningful insights and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support in the use of SAP and Ariba tools.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with key vendors and negotiate contracts to achieve the best possible terms and conditions.
• Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for procurement staff and end-users to enhance their proficiency in SAP and Ariba systems.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and budget adherence.

Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Proven experience as a Procurement Lead or Manager with a strong focus on SAP and Ariba solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Procurement modules, including SAP Ariba.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, procurement processes, and supply chain management.
• Experience with procurement analytics and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
