We require an HSE officer for creating, enacting, and updating job safety programmes for employees that encompass government health and safety regulations as well as company standards for safety in the workplace.
- Support the development of Safety policies and programs.
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
- Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
- Initiate and organize safety training of employees and executives.
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
Minimum Requirements
- 5-7 years of total work experience in Contracting, HVAC or construction industry.
- NEBOSH level 3 certificate is mandatory.
- Excellent command English both written and spoken.
- Experience of EHS policyImplementation & compliance
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Manama: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
