How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?
As our new Workplace Experience Lead you will be responsible for the management and delivery of the Workplace Experience in our Brisbane and other Queensland offices. Leading by example you will create a welcoming experience, activate our offices across the region, and manage first class events with the aim of creating elevated memorable experiences for our clients, visitors, and employees.
Your role will include:
- Plan, coordinate and deliver quality events through cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and third-party suppliers
- Anticipate client, visitor and employee needs, provide prompt response to requests, provide recommendations and proactively troubleshoot problems and find solutions
- Lead the Workplace team to deliver the Workplace Experience, model a differentiated experience to our employees and drive continuous improvement.
- Look for strategic and innovative ways to broaden the Workplace Experience offering and ensure seamless processes to continuously improve client and employee experience
- Proactively engage with internal stakeholders, external clients, and vendors to develop and maintain strong relationships
- Work closely with the regions Workplace Operations team and the broader Australia and New Zealand Workplace Experience team to deliver a consistent high-quality experience.

We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.
As well as experience in a similar role. Specifically:
- Experience managing corporate hospitality or events management in a people centric environment
- Prior experience or training in the catering or event management industry will be highly regarded but is not essential
- Strong organisational, coordination and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication and the ability to consult/provide recommendations
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and a calm, collaborative approach
- Personable and enthusiastic nature, genuine passion for corporate hospitality and event management
- Self-starter who is adaptable, resilient and thrives in a fast paced, exciting, people centric environment
