The traineeship duration varies upon business requirement and will develop the general skills of the trainee and provide on the job knowledge and technical experience.
What you’ll do;:
The primary focus of this role is to support GE Vernova Environmental, Health & Safety Department in the development and growth of the systems and training functions. This may include but not be limited to the following:
- Work directly with EHS Regional Leader and Country CPM’s to drive EHS process and practice improvements.
- Learn the basic EHS processes for the operations to provide effective support.
- Assist with the development and implementation of various existing and new strategies including programs, processes and assisting in specific EHS training programs.
- Assist in reviewing and updating existing EHS materials delivered internally within the organization.
- Assist in documenting business processes utilized to manage EHS within the organization and in documenting accountabilities and responsibilities for the same.
- Other technical and general duties as required and requested in support of the site EHS department.
- Lead the EHS day to day activates align with EHS function
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications);:
- Bachelors degree in EHS, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any related degree.
- Active listener with good communication skills in Arabic & English.
- A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with crosses functional teams.
- Displays willingness to work in harsh environments on as needed basis.
