Staff Nurse - Theatre

We are hiring a Staff Nurse - Theatre (Scrub/Anaesthetic/PACU/Orthopedic) *for a Private Hospital in *Dublin, Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring, and compassion are at the center of all we do.

Key Responsibilities:

• To work as a member of a team of nurses in the Hospital theatre department providing high-quality, patient-centered care for patients and their families.
• To develop and maintain good relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and to work closely with nursing colleagues to develop innovative practices within the unit delivering evidence-based care.
• The theatre nurse will be expected to assist in a wide range of specialties (e.g. orthopedic, Scrub, PACU, Anaesthetic).
• To develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relating to his or her clinical area.
• Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure good team spirit and collaborative working practices.
• Support the theatre manager by meeting agreed responsibilities as set out by the theatre manager or the chief nursing officer at any time.

Requirements:

• Register with the NMBI's general section of the register of nurses.
• Possess a minimum of one year of experience in an acute hospital setting following registration.
• Prior theatre experience is necessary
• Possess demonstrated clinical and professional aptitude.
• Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Possess strong IT abilities and be able to use Microsoft products like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, among others.
• Proficiency in the English language is mandatory for the position.

Salary: €32,359.79-€52,450.77 per year
