**Responsibilities:
- Define cost estimation objectives during the design and development process and recommend cost-effec ti ve solu ti ons.
- Gather proposals, specifica ti ons, and relevant documents, and communicate with stakeholders to convert specifica ti ons into cost es ti mates.
- U ti lize cost es ti ma ti on methodologies, tools, models, and software packages to prepare and maintain reliable and accurate data.
- Create project cost es ti mates and assess tool costs, reviewing alterna ti ves or providing recommenda ti ons for improvement.
- Evaluate cost effec ti veness and track actual costs related to the budget, regularly repor ti ng on cost status to ensure cost alignment with expecta ti ons.
- Monitor and review data and informa ti on to iden ti fy or assess issues related to cost es ti ma ti on.
- Verify and iden ti fy cost reduc ti on opportuni ti es through reviewing cost analysis. Contribute to cost control systems and procedures, report prepara ti on, and trend monitoring.
**Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 13+ years of cost es ti ma ti on experience in design and development processes.
- Proficiency in cost es ti ma ti on methodologies, tools, and software.
- Strong analy ti cal and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communica ti on and collabora ti on abili ti es.
- Atte nt ion to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
- Knowledge of cost control systems and procedures.
- Ability to evaluate cost effec ti veness and track actual costs.
- Strong organiza ti onal and ti me management skills.
