Tasks & Responsibilities
This position will work to develop, automate, maintain, and govern the Business Intelligence, reporting, and data analysis in Centurion. Deliver financial insights and solutions to enhance business planning and decision-making while improving financial and operational performance
- Convert financial data into user-friendly dashboards & reports
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies in Key Performance Indicators and Operational efficiency insights to support business decisions and drive improvement initiatives
- Liaise with internal stakeholders at all levels to identify key business requirements and metrics to deliver reporting requirements
- Extract & transform data from SQL, in-house systems, websites, & Excel
- Ensure data quality & integrity through governance policies
- Build models to enhance business efficiency & forecast trends
- Train stakeholders on data analysis tools & best practices
- Address data deficiencies & propose solutions for improved quality
Skills & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in IT related field or equivalent
- A proven data analyst professional with demonstrated commercial and financial reporting
- Experience developing and delivering advanced Power BI reports and dashboards
- 2+ years’ experience working with financial data and financial teams
- Strong financial understanding, high degree of analytical skill and sound knowledge of business procedures
- Commercial experience in SQL and Python
