*Job Context: working as an Accounting Manager *You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, compliance with regulatory standards, and the efficient management of accounting processes.
Key Accountabilities:
The position involves:
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including ledger maintenance, revenue, payroll, and other accounting activities.
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to produce accurate financial reports or statements.
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Coordinating and completing annual audits, improving systems and procedures for enhanced financial reporting and data accuracy.
- Setting up and overseeing accounting software and systems, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest financial legal requirements.
- Providing recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- Managing and supervising the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
**We are Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an accounting role with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and taxation regulations.
- Proven experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage and lead the accounting team.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.
