As the Camp Manager, you will oversee business operations and program development within an established budget, ensuring all compliance requirements are met. Strong financial and business planning skills, with proven experience is desirable.
We seek a dynamic, natural-born leader with extensive management experience in the outdoor education industry to drive the success of our camp. You will be responsible for ensuring the care and safety of our young community while overseeing exciting activities such as camping, canoeing, and rock climbing. Additionally, you will serve as a role model for our young guests, imparting valuable life lessons and leading with honesty and respect.
To Be Successful:
- Diploma in outdoor recreation/leadership or equivalent tertiary qualifications (highly desirable)
- Ability to travel within the designated region and throughout NSW as required.
- Valid NSW driver’s license.
- Current CPR and HLTAID0012 First Aid Certificate.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management, including comprehensive financial modelling and forecasting.
- High-level skills in written communication, reporting, presentation, and facilitation.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven strategies for achieving and maintaining profitability.
