KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Preparation of the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Reconciliation of all appropriate accounts
- Responsible for assisting in payable activities and proper filing of documents
- Ensure all asset coding, identification is up to date and maintain fixed asset register
- Preparation of bank reconciliations, performance of cash counts
- Assist in monthly and year-end closing processes, preparation of monthly management reports, in compliance with IFRS and laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain
- Assist in coordinating in coordination of the annual audit
- Perform other tasks as required from time to time
- Preparation of monthly VAT return
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Strong accounting knowledge and skill
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with demonstrated abilities in Excel
- Analytical expertise and a keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
- The ability to develop strong working relationships
- Strong organizational skills
- Works well under pressure
- Fluent in English and Arabic (is a plus).
- Constant drive for improvement within the role
Pay: From BD450.000 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hidd: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Accounting: 5 years (preferred)
