Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project budgets.
  • Ensure accurate estimation of costs, considering all project phases.
  • Implement robust cost monitoring systems to track project expenditures against approved budgets.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analyses of project costs.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Identify potential cost variations and take proactive measures to address them.
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual costs against budgeted costs.
  • Investigate and explain any significant variances.
  • Manage and administer change orders, assessing their impact on project budgets.
  • Collaborate with project teams to control and mitigate additional costs.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients regarding cost-related matters.
  • Provide timely responses to client inquiries and concerns related to project finances.
  • Prepare regular financial reports for project management and clients.
  • Communicate financial status, cost trends, and forecasts to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and organized financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices in cost management and financial control.Recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency of cost control processes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Cost Control Manager in PMC projects.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
  • Strong knowledge of cost control principles and practices.
  • Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Proficient in financial software and tools.
  • Professional certifications in finance or related fields.
  • Experience in managing costs for PMC projects within the Middle East region.
