Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Control-M batch processing solutions to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting of batch jobs to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Provide technical expertise in Control-M-Distrib Prod Control to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for batch processes, including job schedules, dependencies, and recovery procedures.
- Implement best practices for batch operations, including error handling, job prioritization, and resource management.
- Conduct regular reviews of batch job performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures, including security and data protection standards.
- Provide training and support to junior developers and other team members on Control-M tools and techniques.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor system logs and alerts to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to stay updated on the latest Control-M features and enhancements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes and workflows to enhance overall efficiency.
- Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in Control-M-Distrib Prod Control with proven experience in managing complex batch environments.
- Demonstrate expertise in Control-M Batch Operations, including job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Have hands-on experience with Control-M Scheduler, ensuring efficient and reliable batch job execution.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Show proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools to streamline batch processes.
