- Position Title:Operation Technician, Team Leader (Chemical Plant/Incinerator):

  • Working Location: Tuas (Transportation Provided)
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm; Saturday, 8 am - 12 pm/Shift Work: Day - 8 am - 8 pm, Night - 8 pm - 8 am
  • Salary Package:Gross up to $4,500 (Basic + OT/Shift Allowance) + Company Transport/Transport Allowance + AWS + Quarterly Incentives + Performance Bonus + Joining Bonus:

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation and process control of the incinerator and boiler turbine plants.
  • Develop strategies and implement plans to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
  • Manage the daily requirements of consumables, tools, and equipment for the plant.
  • Oversee budget planning and cost management for maintenance operations.
  • Establish and enforce operational procedures according to ISO & OHSAS standards, including training and communication to staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections and prepare plant equipment for audits and inspections to meet all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations concerning air pollutants.
  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules, managing manpower for both routine and shutdown maintenance effectively.
  • Coordinate with other departments to manage power distribution and communicate any potential interruptions.
  • Supervise, motivate, and lead a team of technicians and operators, ensuring high performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and conduct in-house training for staff on operations, maintenance, emergency responses, and safety procedures.
  • Manage documentation, records, and operational data analysis and reporting.
  • Monitor and ensure contractor compliance with safety standards during maintenance works.
  • Regularly review and assess contractor performance.
  • Support the engineering department in maintaining and upgrading plant facilities, including developing preventive maintenance plans.

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance operations, preferably in rotary kiln incinerator or boiler operations.
  • Ability to work in a 12-hour rotating shift pattern.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-specific safety and environmental regulations.
