Job Description: Barista
Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Baristas at Hills Cafe. Whether you are experienced or looking to start your career, we welcome your passion for coffee and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Coffee Preparation:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, and other beverages according to company standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and take orders with accuracy.
- Provide recommendations and ensure customer satisfaction through friendly service.
Cleanliness and Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and seating areas.
- Adhere to health and safety standards while handling food and beverages.
Inventory and Stocking:
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
- Inform the supervisor of low stock or equipment issues.
Team Collaboration:
- Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
- Assist in training new team members when required.
Qualifications:
- With or without experience - training will be provided.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
