Job Title: Senior Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and accounted for
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Manage the month-end close process
- Prepare and file tax returns
- Work with external auditors during the annual audit
- Provide financial analysis and support to other departments
- Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of experience as an accountant, with at least 3 years in a senior role
- Strong understanding of IFRS and Kuwait labor law
- Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software/ ERP
