Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Gardener to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our landscapes and gardens.
Responsibilities
- Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Mow and edge lawns
- Prune trees and shrubs to ensure health and aesthetics
- Weed and cultivate gardens
- Monitor and irrigate plants as needed
- Operate both power tools and hand tools for various gardening tasks
- Assist with landscape maintenance including mulching, fertilizing, and pest control
- Support greenhouse activities such as growing seeds and transplanting seedlings
Skills
- Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of greenhouse operations
- Ability to operate power tools effectively
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools used in gardening
- Experience in irrigating plants efficiently
- Understanding of farming practices is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Public holidays
Work Location: In person
