Assistant Logistics

Novel Seeds Pvt. Ltd. is a leading seed company based in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. We are dedicated to providing high-quality seeds to enhance agricultural productivity. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant to the Head of Logistics & Purchase.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Logistics Coordination: Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the transportation and storage of seeds.
  **- Inventory Management:Maintain accurate records of inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate to meet demand without overstocking.
  - Supplier Relations:Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues related to orders.
  - Documentation: Prepare and manage documentation related to logistics and purchase, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
  - Data Analysis: Analyze data to track performance and identify areas for improvement in logistics and purchasing processes.
  - Compliance:Ensure all logistics and purchase activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  - Support: Provide administrative support to the Head of Logistics & Purchase, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
  - Problem Solving:Address any issues or delays in logistics and purchasing, and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
  - Communication:Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication of logistics and purchasing activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or purchasing is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP software.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
