Manufacturing Technician

MACOM is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic semiconductor manufacturing operator/tech for our Wafer Fab. The operator/tech will report into the manufacturing team and perform general manufacturing duties on the production floor such as fabrication (lithography, etch, metals, diffusion, implant, grind/polish, glassing, dicing or wafer electrical test).

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive incoming reticles from Shipping and Receiving.
  • Open, catalog and deliver Reticles into the Fab placing them in correct locations depending on Type, Tool and Layer.
  • Support FAB Operations resolving Reticle Holds and Reticles in need of repair..
  • Perform yearly audits of Reticle locations (Fab and Storage Room).
  • Familiarity providing service within restricted cleanroom environment preferred.
  • Interface with all other employees, vendors, customers, and management in a professional manner.
  • Consistently providing and supporting the overall maintenance of production tooling, accommodating shifting schedules to meet the needs of the business and maintenance goals.

Job Qualifications:

  • **High School diploma.
  • 2 years of Wafer Fab experience.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Be able to lift 50 pounds, work standing on hard surfaces, ladders, under and around equipment for entire shift.
