- focused on Emerging Biotech, within the bio-manufacturing of novel modalities.Your Role:
- You will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities within the emerging biotech sector, specifically focusing on the transition from early process development to GMP biomanufacturing.- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Customer Applications, Technical Services, and other MilliporeSigma Life Sciences partners to drive strategic partnerships and business growth.- Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Identification: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within emerging biotech for end-to-end biomanufacturing processing.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with biotech companies, academic institutions, and research organizations to foster strategic collaborations and licensing agreements.
- Emerging Biotech Market: Comprehensive emerging biotech market understanding to correctly identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential partners or clients.
- Project Management: Oversee the progress of all the activities, including partnerships, customer engagements, coordinating customer support, seeding of products and services, with external and internal partners.
- Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and networking events to stay informed about industry developments and promote MilliporeSigma’s capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A hunting mindset for partners to position and conduct seeding activities of our platform portfolios.- Strong networking experience, excellent listening skills and proven customer engagement including participation at customer sites, regional/national conferences, symposiums and internal events.- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.- 5+ years of emphasis on biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience- Strong understanding of biotech R&D processes, clinical trial phases, and the regulatory landscape. Familiarity with current trends and challenges in the biotech sector. Must be based in the Northeast, US. Preferably MA/NH area- Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the timePreferred Qualifications:
