Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Supervise and mentor program staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, families, and other stakeholders to enhance program visibility and effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements based on feedback and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with social work professionals to provide comprehensive support services tailored to individual needs.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in behavioral health and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications:

  • You must have a Board Certification in Family Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. This is required.
  • You need a New York State medical license, or be willing to get one. This is also required.
  • You must have a DEA license, or be able to get one. This is required too.
  • You should have at least 3 years of work experience in Family Medicine, which can be in education or administration.

  • DEA License

State License Requirements:

  • New York License

Additional Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in Family Medicine education or administration.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $205,000.00 per year
