Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at The Boat-Club Durham. In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests while ensuring they have an enjoyable dining experience. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our reputation for excellence in hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide detailed information about menu items and specials to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and check on guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
- Assist with food preparation and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a server or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
