We are urgently seeking a Female Disability Support Worker to support a 10-year-old child with community access and swimming-based support.
Shift Details (Please Read Carefully)
- Days: Tuesday & Thursday (must be available both days)
- Time: Evening shifts
- Hours: Minimum 2 hours per shift initially:
- Growth: Hours will increase gradually, including weekends, once the family is satisfied
- Engagement: Ongoing & consistent (not short-term)
- Consistency is essential. We are seeking one dedicated support worker._
Key Responsibilities
- Community access and social engagement support
- Teaching and supporting swimming activities (mandatory):
- Promote confidence, independence, and safety
- Build a trusting, respectful relationship with the child and family
- Maintain professional documentation and communication
Mandatory Requirements (Applications Without These Will Not Be Considered)
✔ Female support worker
✔ Experience supporting children
✔ Strong swimming ability - MUST be confident in water
✔ NDIS Worker Screening Check
✔ Working with Children Check
✔ First Aid & CPR Certificate
✔ Commitment to both Tuesday & Thursday ongoing
