Yeovil College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Foundation Learning Lecturer to join our Foundation Learning Team on a 6-month fixed-termcontract starting February 2026, delivering our NEET programme. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialist department that changes lives through inclusive, high-quality education.
What we're looking for:
- Experience of teaching students with SEND in either mainstream school, college or a specialist provision
- A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
- Experience of supporting young people to learn and develop new skills.
- The ability to work successfully within a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- An empathic approach to teaching ad confidence to deal with challenging situations.
