The Role (Overview)
This is a hands-on role combining care coordination, care delivery, administration, and client engagement. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while helping grow the service.
This role is ideal for someone who understands care, enjoys responsibility, and wants to progress into senior coordination or management.
Key Responsibilities
Care Coordination
- Assist with scheduling carers and managing rotas
- Liaise with carers, clients, families, and professionals
- Support care planning, reviews, and changes to packages
- Ensure continuity and quality of care delivery
- Handle day-to-day issues, cover, and last-minute changes
Care Delivery (As Required)
- Provide hands-on care when needed (e.g. cover shifts, emergencies, assessments)
- Support clients with personal care, daily living tasks, and community support
- Maintain professional standards and person-centred care at all times
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate client and staff records
- Assist with onboarding carers and clients
- Support compliance tasks (timesheets, audits, documentation)
- Use care management systems and basic IT tools
Client & Business Support
- Assist with enquiries from new clients and families
- Attend assessments or introductory visits when required
- Build relationships with local professionals and community contacts
- Support referrals and business development activities
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience in domiciliary care or health & social care (essential)
- Comfortable with both care work and office/coordination duties:
- Organised, calm under pressure, and solution-focused
- Strong communication and people skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a growing team
- Flexible and willing to adapt to business needs
Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Willingness to work flexibly across care, admin, and coordination
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Previous care coordinator or senior carer experience
- Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
- Experience dealing with private clients or local authorities
- Interest in progressing into management

Pay: £2,000.00-£2,300.00 per month
