Duties

  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
  • Collaborate with the nursery team to create a stimulating and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Support the management in maintaining high standards of care and education within the nursery.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting.
  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are desirable.
  • Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative.
  • A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential transportation needs related to the role.
