The Director-General’s Office in Health and Community Services Directorate (HCSD) is seeking a high performing Executive Assistant to join our small and busy team.
At HCSD, we are passionate about helping Canberrans live healthy, safe, and connected lives. The Directorate oversees the ACT's public health system, ensuring it meets the community's needs and standards. We also have responsibility for a wide range of human services functions in the ACT, including public housing; services for children, young people and families; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs, multicultural affairs, LGBTIQA+ affairs, and policy for women and seniors.
Under general direction, the Executive Assistant will:
- Manage the Director-General’s calendar,
- Process invoices and payments,
- Liaise with executives, and assign tasks to line areas for completion,
- Facilitate the Director-General’s clearances in TRIM and Objective, and
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on a range of issues, some of which may be complex, sensitive, and challenging.
