Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

A nursery where staff are supported, not stretched.
We are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our small, friendly team at The Little Magpies Nursery.
This is a hands-on practitioner role — not a management position — ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with children in a calm, supportive environment.
Newly qualified Level 3 practitioners are very welcome to apply.
What the Role Actually Looks Like
- Working closely with children to support their learning and development
- Creating warm, engaging play experiences (no over-complicated planning)
- Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and independence
- Building positive relationships with families and your team
- Completing observations and contributions to learning journeys
- Keeping children safe, happy, and cared for
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
- A kind, patient, and reliable approach
- A genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS (required before starting)
