Food Preparation:
Assist in basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of senior chefs.
Wash, peel, chop, cut, and cook ingredients as required in both hot and cold kitchen sections.
Kitchen Support:
Support the Chef de Partie and other kitchen staff in daily kitchen operations.
Set up workstations and ingredients before the start of daily service.
Cleanliness & Hygiene:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation areas.
Follow proper hygiene and food safety procedures at all times.
Stock Handling:
Assist in receiving and proper storage of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
Practice proper stock rotation and labelling.
Learning & Development:
Willingness to learn new skills, cooking techniques, and kitchen practices.
Take part in training sessions and on-the-job learning to improve skills and efficiency.
Teamwork:
Work cooperatively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by senior kitchen staff.
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cameron Highlands: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
