Manufacturing Operative - Sewer - Zero Hours | £10-£12.73/hr
Location: Coleshill, Birmingham
Hours: Zero hours contract
About the role:
Marlux Medical is a leading manufacturer of high-quality privacy curtains for healthcare environments. We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operative to join our team on a zero-hour basis.
The role involves supporting the production, assembly, and packing of our full product range, with a particular focus on bespoke sewn goods manufactured using ultrasonic sewing machines. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with hands-on manufacturing or sewing experience who is looking for flexible work within a growing healthcare manufacturing business.
What you’ll do:
- Manufacture and assemble products to the highest quality standards
- Carry out quality checks and complete production documentation
- Accurately complete batch and processing records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment
- Follow all hygiene, health & safety, and quality procedures at all times
We are looking for:
-Previous experience in manufacturing, sewing, or assembly is essential
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions and company procedures accurately
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work well as part of a team
