Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full time Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve engaging with customers, ensuring their orders are accurately fulfilled, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
- Assist customers in selecting their orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, seating areas, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene practices during food preparation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista is essentia.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- A friendly attitude with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
