Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the lead teacher to implement lesson plans and adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all students.
- Provide individualized support to students, fostering their academic and social growth within the classroom.
- Help in the assessment and monitoring of student progress, contributing to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Encourage and support students in group activities, promoting teamwork and positive peer relationships.
- Assist in classroom management, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance knowledge and instructional skills.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in Education or Child Development.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively support the lead teacher and engage with students.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help students overcome their learning challenges.
- Ability to remain organized and adaptable in a dynamic classroom environment.
