- Main Responsibilities- Requirements & Qualifications- Education & Professional Background-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Finance, or a related discipline.-
Professional certification (e.g., AACE, RICS, ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage.- Experience-
Minimum 5-8 years of cost control experience within construction, rail, or major infrastructure projects.-
Proven experience on large, complex projects (EPC, Design & Build, or alliance models preferred).-
Strong understanding of cost control processes across the full project lifecycle.- Technical Skills-
Advanced proficiency in cost control tools and software (e.g., SAP, Primavera P6, Power BI, Excel).-
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, earned value management, and cash flow analysis.-
Ability to interpret project schedules and integrate cost and planning data.- Personal & Professional Competencies-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.-
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.-
Leadership capability with experience mentoring junior team members.-
Proactive, results-driven, and commercially aware.
