Healthcare Support Worker - Day Services

AA Euro Healthcare is partnering with a leading intellectual disability organisation to recruit Healthcare Support Workers for temporary relief roles in Cork city areas.

Requirements:

• FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (8 modules completed)
• Working knowledge of HIQA policies/procedures.
• Working knowledge of Children First guidelines and procedures.
• Full, clean manual driving licence.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and professional boundaries.
• Resilient, empathetic, and committed to young people’s rights and wellbeing.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland without sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals in a respectful, person-centred manner, promoting dignity, choice, and independence.
• Assist with daily personal care tasks.
• Encourage engagement in meaningful activities tailored to individual interests and abilities
• Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team and family members to deliver high-quality care
• Build positive, trusting relationships through empathy, patience, and compassion

Pay: €15.14-€19.30 per hour
