We are currently recruiting skilled and experienced electricians to support a national electrical inspection and maintenance programme within the water and wastewater sector.
Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and reactive inspections of electrical panels in line with utility and regulatory standards.
Test, diagnose, and rectify faults on control panels, MCCs, and related instrumentation.
Complete minor electrical upgrades and remedial works as required.
Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with health & safety legislation, site procedures, and risk assessments.
Accurately complete inspection records, test results, and site reports following each visit.
Coordinate site access and works with clients, site supervisors, and internal project teams.
Assist with commissioning, decommissioning, and system handover activities where necessary.
Maintain tools, testing equipment, and PPE to required standards.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Electrician with current Safe Electric registration.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in industrial, utilities, or similar environments.
Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and panel layouts.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel nationwide.
Good communication skills with the ability to complete clear and accurate reports.
Capable of working both independently and within a team environment.
Desirable Experience
Previous experience in water or wastewater treatment facilities.
Confined Space Entry and Manual Handling certification.
Experience working in ATEX environments or with hazardous area equipment.
Familiarity with SCADA, telemetry, or automation systems.

Pay: €49,991.46-€83,501.11 per year
