Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has a current job opening for a full time, non-exempt Data Entry Specialist II, in San Diego, CA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enter and maintain accurate financial data into Deltek Costpoint and other business systems, ensuring compliance with company processes.
  • Provide centralized support to FAs and Finance leadership by handling data-related tasks, such as updating project setups, modifications, expense reports, and close-outs.
  • Assist in reconciling and verifying data entries, including AR invoices, project status reports, and revenue worksheets using system tools like Cognos.
  • Coordinate and input workforce additions, including onboarding details, organization assignments, and account coding.
  • Manage routine data corrections, approvals, and resolutions for labor posts, timecards, expense reports, AP invoices, and purchase requisitions.
  • Generate and distribute standard reports, spend plans, and notifications to support team needs.
  • Align daily work with current financial processes and, over time, recommend improvements for efficiency and streamlining.
  • Maintain organized records and workflows to effectively support a multi-timezone environment, unique business units, and varying contract types (e.g., T&M, Cost Reimbursable, Fixed-Fee Projects, government contracts).
  • Other data entry and support duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Five (5) years of experience in financial data entry or analysis
  • Must have working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint financial software.
  • Working knowledge of Government Contracting is a plus.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to provide detailed examples of managing tasks in a multi-timezone company involving unique business units and different contract types.
  • Must be able to speak, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Must have the ability to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
