Convenience Store Sales Associate
Where Locals Snack is a well-established convenience store in North Miami Beach, and we're looking for dedicated and friendly Sales Associates to join our team. We're hiring for a part-time position for 3 days a week, 20-25 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.
- Drive sales through product knowledge and suggestive selling.
- Operate the cash register, handling transactions accurately.
- Assist with inventory, including restocking shelves and merchandising products.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Managing lottery sales and small food preparations and operations.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds or more
- Must work well with a team and group environment
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 2+ years of retail sales experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work a flexible days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A self-starter who can multitask and learn quickly.
