We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our team. The Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, and maintaining piping systems according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine piping requirements.
- Measure, cut, and bend pipes using hand and power tools.
- Weld, solder, or braze pipes and fittings as necessary.
- Assemble and install piping systems, including but not limited to, HVAC, water, gas, and steam systems.
- Install pipe supports, hangers, and clamps to ensure proper alignment and stability.
- Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing piping systems as needed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on construction projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
- 5+ years proven experience as a Pipefitter in a similar role.
- Must have Experience in Mining Industry
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and joining methods.
- Experience with cutting, bending, welding, soldering, and brazing pipes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform pipefitting tasks.
- Pipefitting certification(s) preferred.
- Experience with fabrication and metalworking tools and equipment is a plus.
Pay: €39,000.00 per year
