This is a full time position of 40 hours per week
The remuneration range for this role is $126,322 to $178,337 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience
The opportunity
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for shaping long-term investment outcomes? We are seeking a Principal Advisor to provide, strategic advice and project management across investment planning activities. In this key role, you will develop, communicate, and monitor investment advice for long-term planning and programmes, ensuring strategic objectives are achieved efficiently and plans remain current. You will offer valuable insights, facilitate practical solutions to complex issues, and maintain strong working relationships across teams and stakeholders in a changing environment.
You will get to:
- Lead the long-term investment planning process
- Provide and present advice to Senior Leaders and key stakeholders in the organisation
- Assist to amalgamate the investment planning function into Tiaki Wai
- Optimise the investment planning workflow
- Mentor and provide direction to team members
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- 10+ years relevant experience in Investment planning, preferably in the Water or Infrastructure industry
- A Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Strategy or related discipline
- Experience working in regulated industries
- The ability to collect and analyse data from different sources
- Proven writing skills, the ability to influence and convey information
- Ability to work with others in a collaborative environment
