This role plays a critical part in making that happen.
Korero mo te turanga - About the role

- Championing continuous improvement methodologies and coaching teams to lift capability
- Mapping, analysing, and optimising finance processes and supporting systems
- Establishing performance measures to track effectiveness and sustainability of change
- Using data and insights to improve operational performance and service delivery
- Writing and supporting business cases, processes documentation, SOP's and change processes and plans
- Providing practical guidance on internal controls, risk mitigation, and compliance
- Partnering closely with stakeholders to manage change and embed improvements
Mou - About you
You're someone who enjoys working with people, understanding how things really operate, and helping teams make meaningful improvements. You're comfortable navigating complexity, building trust, and moving work forward, taking ownership along the way.
This is a, dedicated continuous improvement role, so you'll enjoy helping shape the way improvement and change become part of everyday operations.
You'll bring:
- The ability to engage and influence across all levels of the organisation, building momentum through relationships rather than hierarchy
- Confidence working autonomously in a fast-moving environment
- A background in operational environments, with a good understanding of cost, productivity, risk, and customer impacts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including discovery, process mapping, and business case development
- Comfort working across multiple business areas and functions, including Finance, Legal, and Digital & Technology
- A delivery mindset: happy owning smaller improvements end to end while supporting larger transformation initiatives
