Role Overview
As an Administrator with Elm Homecare, you will play a central role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the service. This position combines administration, HR support, finance assistance, and reception duties, ensuring high standards of organisation, compliance, and communication across the service.
You will be a key point of contact for staff, service users, families, and external stakeholders, contributing to a professional, welcoming, and well-run environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & General Administration
- Manage diaries, meetings, correspondence, and filing systems (electronic and paper).
- Maintain accurate records in line with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Support service coordination through scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
HR Support
- Assist with recruitment administration, including job postings, interview coordination, and onboarding paperwork.
- Maintain staff files, training records, Garda vetting, and compliance documentation.
- Support HR processes such as leave tracking, timesheets, and absence records.
- Assist with preparation of HR reports and documentation as required.
Finance & Payroll Support
- Support payroll administration, including timesheet collection and basic checks.
- Assist with invoicing, expense processing, and record-keeping.
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative logs in line with internal controls.
- Liaise with management and external accountants where required.
Compliance & Quality
- Support compliance with HIQA, HSE, and internal policy requirements.
- Assist in maintaining audit-ready records and governance documentation.
- Follow all organisational policies, including data protection, safeguarding, and health & safety.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
Previous administrative experience (healthcare or regulated environment desirable).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Desirable:
Experience supporting HR or payroll functions.
- Experience in healthcare, homecare, or social care settings.
- Knowledge of GDPR, safeguarding, and compliance requirements

Salary & Benefits
- Hourly rate: €15.00 - €18.00 per hour (depending on experience).
