Night Cleaning and Security Operative (Combined Role)

Job Summary

We are seeking an Overnight Cleaning Operative / Security Officer, as a combined role, to join our expanding Team. Please note this is multitask role of which primarily involves cleaning duties, and some Light Security Duties. Expected start Date: Immediate. Night shift allowance also provided.

Positions available:
ONE position is available for this job post. Working hours are from 8pm-8am each day. The roster is over a two-week period as follows:
Week 1

Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday 8pm-8am each night

Week 2

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8pm-8am each night

Key Responsibilities:

• Take direction and guidance from the Supervisor in performing duties in line with Health and Safety standards and CNU (Clinical Nursing Unit) best practise policies and procedures. The operative will work as a part of the service team securing the premises and providing regular and reactive cleaning to the highest standards of cleanliness in line with the National Standards of Infection Prevention and Control
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Carry out cleaning duties in designated areas as required by the Supervisor in accordance with infection control and health and safety guidelines.
• To undertake other duties as requested by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts if required.
• Cleaning experiance - at least one year
• Security experiance - at least one year

Pay: €15.41 per hour
